Become a Stawell Harness Racing Club Sponsor

The Stawell Harness Racing Club at Laidlaw Park is a vibrant and welcoming home to both racing and non-racing user groups and community organisations.


The harness racing track and our multipurpose facilities provide a safe venue for all participants and patrons. Our Club showcases the Harness Racing Industry to visitors and residents of our community.


Hosting race meetings each season, it is estimated that over 1.7 million viewers will have access to sponsorship products through on-track signage, the TAB broadcast, Sky Racing TV, Trots Vision, Radio Sport National, Herald Sun and various other digital and social media platforms.


The Stawell Harness Racing Club offers two levels of sponsorship opportunities. Both levels of sponsorship include participation in the Cup Naming Rights Raffle. This Gala event is held each year to determine the sponsor winning the naming rights to the Pacing Cup and Trotters Cup in December.

Tier One

This sponsorship partnership provides up to 50 local businesses with guaranteed naming rights for a race on a meeting held during the financial year.


The partnership includes:

  • Race Naming Rights.
  • Hospitality package for two including lunch and drinks.
  • Race book advertising on that race day. 
  • Invitation to the Cup Naming Rights Raffle and one ticket in the draw for the naming rights to the Pacing Cup and Trotters Cup for the season.


The cost is $200 per year.

Magnificent Six - Tier Two

Our premium partnership (Magnificent Six) is only available to six sponsors.


The package includes:

  • Signage on the back straight fence (2400h x 4800w) allowing media exposure at up to 10 race meetings at Stawell, and all other events during the year including the Show, Annual Tractor Pull, Orchid Show, and all that use the facility.
  • Race book advertising for each harness race meeting.
  • Guaranteed race naming rights for one race on Cup Day in December and hospitality for six (meal and beverages) on Cup Day in December.
  • Race naming rights for one race during the season and hospitality for four (lunch and drinks) on that race day.
  • Broadcast of short script for the race caller to read during the broadcast of named races.
  • Social media promotion and engagement.
  • Two tickets into Cup Naming Rights Raffle.
  • Acknowledgement in Annual Report.


Term of Level Two Sponsorship

3 years. The sponsorship season runs from the 1st of July to 30th June.


Cost

2022-23    1st Year $2750.00 (Includes cost of the sign) Invoiced June 2026

2023-24    2nd Year $2000.00 Invoiced June 2027

2024-25    3rd Year $2000.00 Invoiced June 2028


Or the total package for the three years invoiced in June 2026 for $5990.00


Magnificent Six sponsors will be given first option to continue the partnership beyond the 2024-25 racing season.
